Weed–Kiddie

You are warmly invited to G99 for an exhibition talk accompanying the exhibition Weed–Kiddie, which will take place on Thursday, 19 March 2026, at 5:00 PM. The exhibition will be introduced by its curators Barbora Trnková and Viktória Pardovičová, together with the exhibiting artist Lucie Lienerová, who will present and discuss their project.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The exhibition becomes the third act of the artist’s painterly practice, in which—against the backdrop of posthumanist premises—she develops narratives of the transformation of human and plant identity. We find ourselves in the midst of illustrations for an unwritten book, which evocatively invite a search for dialogue with a newly emerging offspring: a being whose place between floral and anthropomorphic origins remains ambiguous—if it has one at all.
