What meaning can art have in times of war and crisis?
Can it respond, help, express, or resist? These questions about the role of the artist in wartime reality will be addressed during a discussion-lecture evening by:

Pavla Nikitina – sculptor exploring psychological, anthropological, and social phenomena and conflicts in her work.
Marcel Tomášek – historical sociologist and political scientist focusing on collective memory and social transformations in Central and Eastern Europe.
Lucie Řehoříčková from the Partnership Foundation – cultural diplomat, Ukraine specialist, and former director of the Czech Centre in Kyiv.
Johana Merta – artist and author of the exhibition Over All Possibilities 2, within whose accompanying program the discussion takes place.
