ABOUT EXHIBITION
Transmedia artist Kryštof Brůha, whose practice operates at the intersection of material ontology and digital space, has prepared an installation for the House of Arts that emerges from algorithmic networks, generative design, and post-industrial techniques such as machine learning, 3D printing, and CNC. In this work, he reconstructs the invisible dynamics of systems—from the micro-processes of the natural environment to abstract data flows. His kinetic objects and generative videos function here as intermedial interfaces that translate techno-ecological metamorphoses into multisensory compositions.

The exhibition Aeris Chronos explores air as a living archive of time, carrying traces of history, environmental change, and human activity. The installation uses the method of data archaeology to transform environmental information into a multisensory experience. Abstract data derived from long-term monitoring of Brno’s air quality by the research team of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University are translated into sensorially tangible forms, raising questions about environmental transformations, the relationship between humans and technology, and the invisible layers of reality.

Brůha ingeniously combines precise industrial materials with organic forms, creating a contrast between the austere scientific nature of the data and its poetic metaphor. The robotic elements of the installation refer to humanity’s efforts to control natural processes, while simultaneously highlighting the fragility of this relationship.
