We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition Karin Písaříková: OMNIA MUNDA MUNDIS on Tuesday, 28 March at 6 pm in the G99 gallery. The exhibition will be presented by curator Silvie Šeborová.

Solo exhibition of Karin Písaříková, in which she explores the theme of cleaning. Using the method of artistic research, she reflects on the subjectivity of human experience with chaos and order. She explores the motif of care and sustainability, invisible tasks that are repeated daily. It focuses on the idea of cleanliness as synonymous with goodness and on purification in a ritual sense. He compares the cyclical nature with which brushes move and remove dirt deposits to the cycle of human life.

Karin Písaříková is an artist and curator who explores themes related to physicality, everyday life and her personal life in a lively and playful way through performance, video essays, photographs and objects. In the Czech Republic, she studied art history at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno, continued her studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Brno University of Technology in the studio of Body Design (MgA, PhD) and in Japan she studied information design at Tama Art University, where her dissertation dealt with the theme of corporeality as an embodied mind in the context of contemporary art (MA, PhD).
