Johana Merta: Tiny theatre

We cordially invite you to a workshop for all ages, which will take place on Sunday, August 24th at 2pm at the House of Arts on Malinovsky Square. It will be led by the author of the exhibition Over All Possibilities 2 Johana Merta.

Even a small story can open up big questions.

All it takes is a few objects, a little concentration and an open mind.
What if a rock and crumpled paper start talking? What do they say to each other? And what does that tell us about ourselves?

In this playful workshop we will explore the possibilities of simple theatrical expression. We will focus on working with small objects, voice, silence and subtle movement. Even the smallest thing can become the carrier of a big message. And even the quietest word can resonate with us for a long time.

The stories we tell ourselves change depending on how much freedom we have - or how much we allow ourselves. In a theatre where nothing is pre-determined and everything is possible, we will find space for the questions that haunt us at every age.

This workshop is for children, adults and anyone who wants to explore the world through simplicity and play.
