Borders of Experiments – Ctrl Freq

We cordially invite you to the next concert in the series Borders of Experiment, which will take place on Monday 16 June 2025 at 19:00 in the office/library of Vasulka Kitchen Brno - Centre for New Media Arts. The series, focusing on diverse artists working with the construction of musical instruments and the exploration of sonic possibilities in the materiality of electricity, will this time feature a performance by the Ctrl Freq project.

Ctrl Freq is a project of Hague-based builder of digital musical instruments Kacper Ziemianin who performs mainly with an instrument called LightSequencer (Lse). LightSequencer, which is currently in version 3.14., is Pure Data based instrument that uses 32 light dependent resistors and 8 or more light sources which enables users to work creatively with wide range of sounds ranging from (micro)tonal sequences to noise walls and textures.
