"...and none other!" The Slovak Auditorium

We cordially invite you to the grand opening of the exhibition “…and none other!" The Slovak Auditorium. The exhibition, taking place simultaneously at the House of Arts and the House of the Lords of Kunštát, will feature works by nearly a hundred artists and curators, making it the largest showcase of contemporary Slovak art in the Czech Republic in recent years. The opening will reflect this - it will take the form of a one-day mini-festival and offer a rich program. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

3 pm Opening speeches

3:45 pm Concert: Viktor Ori
Viktor Ori is a well-known figure on the Slovak alternative music scene. He entered the scene as the singer and guitarist of the band Shallov, which gradually transformed into his hybrid solo project, with which he debuted in 2025 with the album Lepsie bolo nikdy dobre nebude. His music blends punk, shoegaze, screamo, trip-hop, industrial, and pop.

4:15 pm Guided tour with the curators

5–6 pm Move to the House of the Lords of Kunštát – performance Orbita: Imediatus
Orbita is a collective of independent artists working in the fields of movement, dance, and performance. It focuses on creating original projects, teaching dance, conducting dance research, and building a community. In collaboration with Czech and international artists from various disciplines, it creates works, which it presents primarily in Brno.

7 pm Musical performance by SZČO and Dohodárka
The rap project SZČO and Dohodárka is an ironic response to the conditions of cultural workers in Slovakia. Does your fee depend on the project’s budget rather than the work you’ve done? Or is a good feeling enough of a reward for you? We love creating, we hate bureaucracy, we don’t have any solutions, but we got beats!

8 pm Concert: Longital
Longital is one of the stalwarts of the Slovak independent music scene. Since its formation in 2001, the band has explored many genres and collaborations, won numerous awards, and performed on stages around the world. Currently operating as a duo consisting of Shina and Dano, the band supports other original musical projects under the Slnko Records label.
