Sally Haftel Naveh (Israel)

Sally Haftel Naveh is a Tel Aviv-based independent curator in the field of contemporary art. Haftel Naveh was formerly the curator and director of Line 16 – Community Gallery for Contemporary Art (2010-2013) and Braverman Gallery, Tel Aviv (2003-2009). As an independent curator, she has curated many solo and group exhibitions in the public realm, museums and alternative spaces worldwide including: The Larva Society for Psychical Research, Jerusalem Artist's House; Permanent Exhibition, The Center for Contemporary Art (CCA), Tel Aviv; A Problem, Tel Aviv Artist's House; Breaking Balance, HIT Gallery, Bratislava; The Return of Paper/ Reflections on Drawing, The 6th Drawing Biennale, Jerusalem; Objectonomy, MeetFactory Gallery, Prague; Evocative Surfaces, Grimani Palace, Venice; Tie Break, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art; Cell Culture Club, Tel Aviv Artist's House; Orient Express, The L.A. Mayer Museum for Islamic Art and RE: VISITING ROCKEFELLER, Rockefeller Archaeological Museum, Israel Museum, Jerusalem. She teaches curatorial studies at Seminar Kibbutzim college and at Emuna college and is currently the artistic advisor of Vila – Gallery for Contemporary Art, Jerusalem. Haftel Naveh has written for various artist's books and catalogues.
