Come to remember the first shows in the House of the Lords of Kunštát where the Brno House of Arts launched its exhibition activities on 8 February 1958.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of exhibitions in this building, we have the pleasure of inviting you to a tour of the current shows, to commemorate the history of the House of the Lords of Kunštát and, in particular, to view the studios and other premises that are not usually open to the public connected with the Brno Artists in Residence programme that has been running in the attic of this renaissance palace for over a year. Further wholesome programme will take place in the Trojka café and in the offices of the Větrné mlýny publishers.

10 a.m. – 8 p.m. free admission to exhibitions
5 p.m. – 8 p.m. competition for three copies of the second updated edition of The Brno Architecture Manual scheduled for sale on 8 February
5 p.m. – 7 p.m. art workshop for children – BAM original colouring books
5 p.m. – talk about the history of the House of the Lords of Kunštát (Jana Vránová)
5.30 p.m. – guided tour of A Ring in the Parking Lot exhibition in G99 Gallery (Marta Fišerová Cwiklinski)
6 p.m. – tour of the residence premises (Marta Fišerová Cwiklinski) + open studios: Marie Štindlová (CZ) and Lörinc Borsos (H)
6.30 p.m. – guided tour of the exhibition By Virtue of / Dalibor Chatrný, on the 1st floor (Terezie Petišková)
7 p.m. – tour of the residence premises in English (Marta Fišerová Cwiklinski)

From 8 p.m. evening music programme in the Trojka café
All-day access to the offices of the Větrné mlýny publishers (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.). Apart from a book sale and a projection of a literary film you can try alphabet soup, poets’ slivovitz and publishers’ jelly.
