The exhibition called Talking About the Light introduces the most important streams of the work of Miloš Budík. Miloš Budík (born 1935) is very important figure in Czech photography of 60’s and 70’s and the exhibition concentrates mainly on this period. In the exhibition hall we can find three cardinal groups of photographs. The first one represents the documentary photography, often referring to humanistic ideals of the exhibition called The Family of Man. The second group, which might be called as “Poetry of Everyday Life”, performs pictures of late 50’s and 60’s. The pictures recorded in a remarkable way demonstrate everyday life. The last one is the collection of Budík’s landscapes. The country of Czech highlands was his main motive during the first years of 70’s.
The exhibition is devoted to Miloš Budík jubilee.
