D’EPOG Theatre Summer Workshop
The third edition of a summer workshop led by D’EPOG Theatre company and director Lucie Repašská. Renowned Korean performer Jun Wan Kim will act as guest lecturer.

The workshop will focus on the development of physical and vocal action through rhythm, montage and working with energy. Under the lecturers’ individual guidance, participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of actors’ training and to experience the process of articulating a meaning, from the birth of a psycho-physical impulse to the fixation of an action. The final output of the summer school will consist in a joint site-specific performance by D’EPOG Theatre company together with the participants in the workshop.
Taking part in the workshop represents a possibility to get an overall insight into D’EPOG Theatre directing and acting methods. Such a practical form of getting to know the work of the company is at the same time the best way to establish a long-lasting cooperation.
The workshop is intended for theatre practitioners (from both professional and non-professional theatre backgrounds), dancers, singers, theatre theorists, academics, cultural activists, and all those interested in the work of D’EPOG Theatre. Participants are free to decide whether they will take an active part or whether they will be observers. Maximum number of participants is 25.
The workshop participation fee is of 3,500 CZK. (Early bird applications by 30 June 2016 at the latest: 2,900 CZK.)
