The FRAME 009 photography competition is intended for professional photographers and students of photography schools with the aim of offering a platform for the mutual confrontation of photographic visions of the contemporary world and creating a representative environment for the realization of their personal work. The competition is open to photographers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. The project was curated by Evžen Sobek and Ondřej Žižka. The Brno House of Arts, where the ceremonial announcement of the competition's winner and an ensuing introductory exhibition of their work takes place, has been a FRAME competition partner since 2007.
